Syed Asim Zafar

Syed Asim Zafar is a dynamic, progressive and visionary entrepreneur and human rights advocate. His endless desire to achieve perfection in client satisfaction and his ability to manage human resource has made ZSL into a leading Stock Brokerage House of Lahore.

He served as the Chairman of the Lahore Stock Exchange and a member of the board of Directors of the Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE), Zafar Securities, National Commodity Exchange. Syed Asim Zafar has been pivotal in professionalizing and improving the performance of the LSE in his three terms as its Chair. Syed Asim Zafar holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University, USA.

His career in entrepreneurship is only eclipsed by his human rights advocacy. As the President of the Human Rights Society of Pakistan, Asim Zafar has been instrumental in introducing much needed reform in Human Rights and awareness as to fundamental rights. He is amongst the few individuals working diligently for a resolution on the Kashmir dispute and the safeguard of rights of its citizens. Through the HRSP, Asim Zafar has also run a diligent legal aid network and has been providing justice to the under served for decades now.
