Nicola Crowther

Service Description

After a decade-long career in law, Nicola transitioned to mediation in 2010 and founded Crowther Mediation in 2014. Crowther Mediation is now the largest independent mediation practice in the North of England and the only UK licensed mediation practice in Dubai, specializing in civil, commercial, family, and workplace disputes. Additionally, Crowther Mediation provides internationally accredited mediation training. Nicola first trained and qualified as a family mediator with the Family Mediation Association in 2010 and is an accredited member of both the Family Mediation Association and the Family Mediation Council. As an elected board member of the Family Mediation Association, Nicola reports to the Ministry of Justice and the Legal Aid Agency on family mediation issues. Nicola is also a Professional Practice Consultant, responsible for training and supervising other family mediators, and is qualified to consult directly with children during mediation. In 2016, Nicola trained and qualified as a Civil Mediator with ADR Group and became accredited with the Civil Mediation Council. Nicola's global recognition includes approvals by the EU and the Greek Bar Council for conducting mediation training in the EU, and membership in the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI).
